Do you provide Private Transfers?
Suncompare exclusively collaborates with private transfer providers. Our platform does not offer shared transfers, ensuring you won’t have to compromise on pick-up times or share your journey with other groups. It’s a smooth, direct, and private travel experience from start to finish.
Can I pay a deposit to secure my booking?
Yes. If your booking is made more than 5 weeks in advance, you can choose to pay a deposit to secure it. The balance will then be automatically charged 4 weeks before your travel date.
Can I pay my driver cash on arrival?
No. All transfers booked through Suncompare must be prepaid in full online. Paying cash on arrival would require a different type of licence (taxi licence), whereas our partners operate under private transfer licences.
Am I booking a door-to-door service?
Yes, every transfer listed on Suncompare offers door-to-door service to and from your accommodation. While we initially ask for the general location to quote an accurate price, it’s essential to enter your full address, including villa/hotel name, during the booking process.
Is luggage included in the price?
Yes. Bookings assume each passenger will bring one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage. This is included in the transfer price.
Will there be an extra charge for transporting equipment?
There is no extra charge for equipment like foldable beach chairs, paddleboards, or bicycles in travel bags, but you must specify these during booking so your driver can prepare the appropriate vehicle space.
What type of vehicles do you use?
Each Suncompare partner has a different fleet, but the majority use comfortable, air-conditioned 8-seat minibuses. VIP services may include executive-style vehicles like Mercedes V-Class or luxury SUVs. You can view vehicle photos on each supplier’s profile.
Are there child seats available?
Yes. Child seats are available free of charge, unless otherwise stated. Just make sure to request them during the booking process.
Are your cars big enough to fit our luggage and extra gear?
Yes. Our vehicles are selected to handle both regular luggage and larger summer gear such as beach umbrellas, coolers, or sports equipment. Just let us know in advance.
How will I know where to meet the driver?
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive clear meeting point instructions and contact details for your transfer provider.
Will I get a text from the driver before I travel / how do I contact the driver?
Your booking confirmation email will include all the necessary information on how and when your driver will contact you, and how to reach them if needed.
Will the driver collect us with enough time to get to the airport on our departure date?
Yes. Return collection times are planned to allow sufficient time for the journey to the airport, including around 2 hours for check-in. Timings may be adjusted closer to departure depending on traffic conditions too.
What if our flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed, please contact your transfer provider as soon as possible. They will do their best to adjust your transfer accordingly. If the delay is significant, there may be surcharges for waiting time, as per the provider’s terms and conditions listed on their profile.
What is included if I book a VIP private transfer?
A VIP booking with Suncompare offers a premium travel experience. This includes a luxury vehicle (such as a Mercedes or equivalent), an experienced chauffeur, and may include extras like:

- Check individual partner listings for full details of their VIP offerings.
- Complimentary refreshments
- Onboard WiFi

Can we do a supermarket stop / pick the keys up for our chalet?
Supermarket stops and key collection stops are considered on request. If the schedule allows, the driver may accommodate it—but on busy travel days (especially weekends) this may not be possible. If agreed to, an extra fee may apply for the additional time.
