Suncompare are here to help summer holidaymakers save money on the best value airport to resort transfers with fully licensed & reliable local transport companies. We make it quicker & easier than ever before to book a high quality private summer transfer from a trusted partner with zero financial risk or worry.
Our Story
Suncompare is the new, summer-focused side of our original website Snowcompare. Founded in 2025 and based on our decade-long experience organising ski resort transfers, Suncompare was born out of an increased demand from existing customers for airport to resort private transfers in both the Alps and the South of France. By applying the same ethos of sourcing reliable and reasonably priced airport transfers to the summer months, we aim to help a whole new demographic of customers to book their summer holidays.
The unique selling point for the original site, Snowcompare.com, was to match customers looking to book private ski transfers independently, with transfer companies seeking to increase their customer base. By sourcing & collating all the available information on to one easy-to-use website the belief was that finding and booking ski transfers would become easier than ever before.
Coupled with that, Snowcompare could use advances in technology and online tools to make the booking process quicker & easier than it often was on individual company websites. Another benefit would be to provide an added layer of reliability to customers in terms of secure online payments through a UK company, plus ensuring all partners are fully licensed and have good feedback from previous customers.
Following the covid related restrictions which prohibited any travel during the 2020/21 winter season, Snowcompare quickly became a vital resource for skiers & snowboarders looking to save money by booking their holiday independently, but wanting the same smooth service they would get from a travel operator. In subsequent years that website was able to help tens of thousands of travellers and received consistently high feedback for its business concept, customer service and journey delivery.
By applying that same successful business model to the summer season we aim to help even more holidaymakers to find a reliable private transfer service at the best possible price. We very much hope that you will be a part of this new and exciting summer airport transfer company.

Our Team
Dave – Managing Director
As the founder member of Snowcompare, Dave remains active within the business and committed to ensuring it provides the best possible service for winter travellers. Having worked in hotels & bars in French ski resorts upon completion of a degree in Psychology from the University of Birmingham; He is perfectly placed to give advice on planning a foreign trip be it in the winter or summer.
With a passion for snowboarding and everything associated with the French mountain lifestyle, Dave has over 15 years experience within the snowsports & travel industry. Currently enjoying a moderately quieter life in the Midlands, Dave enjoys spending time with his family and is encouraging his 5 year old son to continue the family tradition by learning to ski. He continues to enjoy growing his knowledge of all areas of the travel sector as well as developing long-lasting industry partnerships which benefit Suncompare and its clients.
Alicia – Customer Experience Coordinator
Alicia is an international business graduate from the University of Wolverhampton with a global perspective shaped by her time living abroad, from New Zealand to China. Working at Snowcompare since 2023, she combines her passion for travel with a love of encouraging others to step outside their comfort zones and experience something new—even if it’s a little bit scary.
When she’s not helping others plan their trips to Europe in both the summer & winter, you’ll likely find her outdoors enjoying long walks (weather permitting!) or booking a solo trip to explore new places. Whether it’s a city break in Sweden or attending a concert, Alicia is always seeking fresh experiences. And while she is a novice skier & snowboarder for the moment, she is perfectly at home soaking up the sunshine in the South of France and is an expert when it comes to planning a summer vacation!
